The Mixstory: Vol. 1, Tales of Love is the debut release from singer/songwriter Carlena Prophet. With a solid mix of a cappella and acoustic melodies, Carlena presents soulful music inspired by a love for jazz, gospel, and country. The 8-track project marks a foundational beginning for the singer. In her words, "This project is a seed that has been planted and rooted in love. It's fun and it feels like home! And I guess it feels like home because it feels like God. And it feels like God because He is the way to love and He is love." As the first volume from The Mixstory, Carlena is sure to bring great music that blends and stretches musical genres. This is only the beginning.
